ABOUT Go!

Go Theatre and Go Dance Academy has been a Cardiff-based center of excellence for training in the performing arts since 2009.  Our experienced team of passionate, energetic and creative teachers pride themselves on delivering the highest quality part-time classes in Dance, Singing and Drama that give students aged 2+ the opportunity to have fun, to train, to get creative and to perform!

We believe that the performing arts are a fantastic way for people of all ages to develop confidence, skills and uncover opportunities for a lifetime!  

Whether our students aspire to a career in Performing Arts, to speak more effectively in public or to just enjoy the challenge of rehearsals, Go Theatre and Dance Academy and our experienced and professional staff can offer a pathway to greater skills and greater confidence, all through the medium of live theatre.

Emma-Jayne has over 25 years’ professional experience as a performer and practitioner. She has worked extensively with children in Theatre and Dance and first appeared on stage herself as a 3 year-old; her daughter trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School London and is currently studying at Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Emma-Jayne coaches her  students in preparation for entry to drama college; recent successes include students who have gained entry to Bird College,  Italia Conti, Tring, Arts Ed and Laine Theatre Arts. 

She is an International Director and Choreographer and a fully qualified teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, teaching many styles including Modern Theatre, Tap, Ballet & Contemporary. 

Emma-Jayne strives to create performance opportunities for all her students; they are wonderful ambassadors for the Go Theatre and Dance Academy ethos and make an excellent impression wherever they go.
